About Laura
Laura’s worked closely with teams on a regional, local and global level. While at her previous agency Epoch she delivered brand and marketing strategies for FMCG global giant Unilever, working on major household names like Persil, Dove, Hellman’s and more. Laura also has a wealth of client-side experience too, having worked for Lloyds and AXA.
On top of that, Laura has collaborated with government agencies including the NHS and The Department of Health on highly successful Smoking Cessation Campaigns. Over this four-year engagement, Laura and her team filtered (excuse the pun) down the national messaging on smoking cessation to a local level to support stop smoking services in areas of social inequality. She worked across the country adapting the messages and campaigns via a multi-channel marketing strategy which included a lot of experiential marketing.
After Laura had her eldest son, she set up a social media marketing and consulting business, which gave her more freedom and flexibility. She worked closely with a lot of SMEs to create social media strategies and, through coaching and consultancy, helped them successfully implement those strategies.
Part of the team
In welcoming Laura to the team, Creative Director Simeon de la Torre says, “Laura is a hugely talented and experienced Account Director who will not just refine our internal systems but more importantly, bring our clients visions to life – she’s full of ideas and will be able to suggest new ways of getting more out of their brands and campaigns. We’re beyond excited for her to join our team.”
“I’m really pleased,” Laura says, “After my time freelancing it’ll be really nice to come back to working with other people, being part of a team and feeling that sort of buzz again. I already feel super welcomed, and I can’t wait to get started.
“I’m looking forward to getting to know all the clients, understanding their businesses and priorities, working with all of our creatives and mostly being very busy!”
