The right fit
Emapsite is a leader in the UK’s booming location data sector, providing mapping and geospatial intelligence to brands such as TikTok and the National Trust. It’s a complex business with a multilayered proposition, ESG considerations, and audiences across public, private and third sectors. The brief? To reposition and rebrand the organisation, while bringing clarity to their messaging – a task that played to our strengths.
“The thing that really stood out, after our happiness with the result, was the pace. They did all they said they would in the pitch, and then some.”
Rich Pawlyn, Managing Director, Emapsite
Creative strategy
This was an extensive strategic project that required us to rebuild the brand from the ground up. We began with a research phase that incorporated competitor and audience analysis (working with supplied customer personas), before defining the company purpose, positioning, architecture, values, sustainability platform and more. We created a brand voice and an identity, before rolling out the brand across dozens of assets.
Developing our relationship
We’ve since become a trusted creative partner to Emapsite and have designed and developed several high-profile campaigns for them across channels including social, video, Public Relations, Direct Mail and advertising. We’ve enjoyed supporting the continued growth of the company and providing them with a resourceful, innovative and proactive service. Our relationship continues.

Delivering impact
Since our involvement, the company has outperformed its financial growth targets and has increased awareness and opportunities across its key markets. In fact, the new brand and updated positioning – supported by a clear ESG agenda – enabled it to attract a buyer in the form of Idox, a (perhaps even more complex) listed company. For us, the essence of this strategic branding project can be captured by the strapline we created for Emapsite: Location Data Clarity.
